SF8 Sabre Repaints / Re: White template

Your Welcome Lluis,

This aircraft by the SF8 team is simply outstanding.  I had a lot of fun painting a bucket of repaints for this girl including a large batch of fictional fun girl.  Lots of serious ones as well  ;D

Glad you enjoyed your visit to my site - many hundreds of aircraft and liveries available for free there all from a repainter's perspective - just working on aircraft that took my fancy and sharing them with the simming community.

Regards and happy painting mate.

Hi Mate,

Sorry for not visiting this forum for such a long time - however, if your still interested, you will find a good set of master blanks for this girl on this page on my web site http://www.gjsmith.net/Textures/f86-sf8.htm

There is also a plethora of repaints available on this page for this aircraft.

SF8 Sabre Repaints / Yet another couple of new Liveries
« on: January 21, 2011, 07:52:55 AM »
Hi Good People,

Long time between repaints for this girl but recently had a couple of requests for some repaints.

This one was another basic ANG livery:

This one is for a historically famous aircraft - Canadian Boomerang - did a run from coast to coast in one day in 1955:

If you want to have a play with them then you will find them on my F86-SectionF8 Page on my site:
http://www.gjsmith.net

While your there feel free to check out the other liveries for the SectionF8 Sabre and tons of other liveries and things for other aircraft.

Regards and happy simming to all.

I have a wear and tear (used effect) layer - but have not used it often for this aircraft - majority seem to like the "as new" effects most.

If I get some time in the near future I will do a couple of them as alternative liveries for those that like the USED effect.

Hi Hotas,

There is no thumbnail image for the textures because the textures are designed for the FS2004 version of the aircraft - that would also account for the "transparency" for the cockpit texture not working correctly as well.

If there is an official FSX version of the aircraft then I would copy the cockpit releated image/s to the new textures and it is fairly easy to create a thumbnail for her if you desire one.

Appreciate appropriate credit for the original work and your welcome to add - modifed by: etc

The KMHV Project that I am working on is for a person who frequently flies at Mojave at the National Test Pilot School - he intends to use if for personal use and training.   He has the advantage of being able to specify what goes where and how it all should look - very astute critique of the project and has pushed me to push the boundaries very hard.  The end results have been very much worth the several months of effort.

Unknown if he will release the project to the simming community at this time but if he does then I am sure that many simmers will enjoy the realism and visual impact of the entire package.

Hi Good People,

Long time since my last post - sorry.

Have been working on a scenery package for KMHV/Mojave Air & Space Port over the last couple of months - in amongst all of the incredible aircraft at this airport I discovered that there were quite a few F86's used there, as well as one still flying from there I believe.  Could not resist having a go at a couple of them.

The first was a fairly historical livery (though a bit plain) - a Flight Systems Inc. Developed into a Remote Controlled aircraft

And an Aircraft that I believe is still stationed there.

Notice the background - just part of the scenery package I am developing - 31 special AI Aircraft, 6 Different Flying Models - Several specially modelled objects, Rotary Rocket, Rotary Rocket Hangars, Old Control Tower etc.  Over 2000 individually placed items - including some bits of photoreal areas.  Been at it for a couple of months now - but almost finished.

Anyway I digress - the two new liveries are now available on my SectionF8 Sabre page over at http://www.gjsmith.net - hit the Catalogue button to navigate to the F86 SectionF8 Page.  And away you go
- over 30 liveries to choose from.

Regards and happy Simming
